Thick-walled polystyrene foam insulated transporters now come with a weather resistant inner/outer nylon shell and carrying strap. These transporters are ideal for laboratory couriers making pick-ups and deliveries of serum, blood, tissues and other temperature-sensitive items, or for protecting the quality of samples collected in the field.
The Duo-Temp Locking Tote (model 640) includes a removable and reusable U-Tek refrigerant pack held in place by a nylon mesh sleeve securely sewn into the lid. A fold-out partition in the unit allows seperation of fragile samples into two different temperature compartments when cold pack is used on one side.
