ECOMAX - Model FI-45
Simplicity is the ultimate perfection: ECOMAX™

Simply Ingenious
All parameters of the ECOMAX™ x-ray film processor influencing image quality are factory set to optimal values. This makes the operation easier and reduces operator error. Just plug in the new processor and fill it with chemicals and the ECOMAX™ is ready for operation. So Ingeniously Simple.
Unique Design Concept
Not only is the outer design of the ECOMAX™ aesthetically pleasing, all technical innovations of the ECOMAX™ have only one aim: “Optimal Image Quality”. This includes the new roller rack design and the re- shaping of the chemical tanks. Protec’s engineers have a combined experience of more than 20 years in film processor design. In this new design we have included the very latest manufacturing methods. The result is the new ECOMAX™
Ecological and Economic
The ECO in ECOMAX™ is not a coincidence. The small re-shaped developer and fixer tanks reduce oxidation of large quantities of chemicals. This helps to save money and is good for the environment. In addition the replenishment rate is automatically adjusted to the actual processed film quantity in an optimal way. When no film is being processed the ECOMAX™ will be resting in stand-by mode.
All You Need
The ECOMAX™ comes complete with all accessories and the processing parameters are preset in the factory. The processor functions like anti-crystallisation, anti-oxidation and the permanent circulation of the chemistry are included. The ECOMAX™ stays operational and produces consistently good image quality even after being in stand-by mode for a long period of time.

OPTIMAX - Model FI-75
The compact table-top processor for multi-purpose applications with a wide range of accessories.

Multi-purpose applications
The OPTIMAX® is an innovative table-top processor for film types up to a width of 35 cm (14“). The allrounder is used in various fields: human medicine including mammography, in veterinary medicine as well as for laboratory and graphic arts applications. The OPTIMAX® is easy to service and presents itself with an attractive design.
Uncompromising quality
The one-piece casing and the exclusive use of high quality components guarantee the highest degree of reliability. It goes without saying that we supply the OPTIMAX® with everything that is needed for operation like light protection cover, replenishment containers and connecting hoses.
Best economic efficiency
The integrated stand-by mode reduces your water and energy consumption. The film detection with a micro sensor enables intelligent and economic replenishment depending on the processed film surface. Because of that the OPTIMAX® saves chemicals and provides a constant high quality of your image.
No problem operation, perfect safety
With the simple control panel the tanks can easily be filled during the warm-up cycle, and the developer temperature can be set. Acoustic and visual controls signal the readiness for processing of the next film. The anti-crystallisation and antioxidation programs in combination with the continuous circulation of the chemicals and the thermostat for the developer ensure constant high image quality. The processed film is available after 90 seconds. For special applications the processing time can be adjusted to 135 or 167 seconds (factory set. Please state preferred timing when placing order).

OPTIMAX 2010 - Model FI-245
PROTEC® OPTIMAX® 2010: The optimised allrounder that meets highest safety expectations.

Optimised applications
The OPTIMAX® 2010 processes all common film types up to a width of 35 cm with any kind of chemicals. Possible applications stretch from human medicine to veterinary medicine and laboratory applications. With the adjustable processing speed, in conjunction with the program memory, different film types (e.g. standard and mammography) can easily be processed with only one processor. The OPTIMAX® 2010 impresses with its modern design and its further optimised serviceability.
Familiar top quality
The proven concept of the one-piece casing is used in the OPTIMAX® 2010 as well. It has been PROTEC®’s philosophy for many years now to exclusively use high quality components and to ship all processors with all accessories that are needed for operation. New is the extended manufacturers warranty of two years.
Improved economic efficiency
An optimised film detection with microsensors together with individually adjustable replenishment rates allow a more economic and more ecological use of valuable chemicals without concessions to the image quality. In addition to the integrated stand-by mode, when the processor is not in use, a water save mode is available to further reduce water consumption while the processor is working.
Easy operation, comprehensive safety
Processing speed, temperatures and replenishment rates can easily be adjusted on the control panel, which is also used for automatic tank filling during the warm-up cycle. All set parameters can comfortably be recalled and monitored on the digital display. The filling level control in the developer tank and the integrated overflow protection further improve the safety. The proven anti-oxidation and anti-crystallisation programs, together with the continuous circulation of the chemicals ensure highest image quality and consistency.

COMPACT 2
For perfect and fast film processing. Our total know-how for the most demanding expectations.

Applications in the medical and industrial sectors
The COMPACT™ 2 is a very powerful x-ray film processor. Our top-model was designed for processing all standard film types up to a width of 45 cm (173/4“). The extreme high capacity guarantees quick access to the processed films.
Top quality including all accessories
Longstanding experience leads to competence: It goes without saying that a light protection cover, replenishment containers and intermediary rinsed squeeze rollers for preventing carry over of chemicals are an integral part of the processor. On top of this, the exclusive use of high quality components ensures the best reliability and precision.
High economic efficiency – low energy costs
The integrated stand-by mode reduces your water and energy consumption. The film detection with four infrared sensors allows intelligent and economic replenishment depending on the processed film surface, with individually adjustable rates. This saves chemicals and provides a constant high quality of your image.
Easy handling – comprehensive safety
On the control panel you can individually set the processing time, temperatures and replenishment rates. In addition you can automatically fill the tanks during the warm-up cycle. Five different programs are available for storing individual settings. This, plus the acoustic and visual controls means convenient operation and safety. PROSCAN 35
Revolutionary CR-System with 35 cm infeed width

PROSCAN is a modern, high resolution scanner for imaging plates. It transfers x-ray information saved on the imaging plate into a digital signal. The CONAXX Software (included in the standard delivery) operates the CR-Scanner and routes the images automatically to a PACS. In case you do not have a PACS yet, our PROMIS medical imaging software would be a favourable alternative..
Rapid imaging for superior quality
Due to the fast scanning process, x-ray images are provided quickly for a reliable diagnosis. Misdosage and as a result overexposure or underexposure are almost impossible with this CR-technology due to the high exposure tolerance..
Small investment
The worthwhile investment brings the immediate benefit of no longer needing to work with chemicals, the disposal of chemistry and the cleaning of a processor. Expensive printouts on film are not required, diagnosis can be done fast and reliably on a diagnostic monitor. The imaging plates can be re-used and you can still continue to use your existing x-ray unit
Digital imaging everywhere
You decide, where to place your compact PROSCAN. The operation can take place under normal lighting conditions, this means you will no longer need a darkroom. Due to its compact design the PROSCAN is suitable for mobile applications.
Easy changeover
Easy changeover for the radiographer because the handling is comparable to that of films.
